...Gusty South Winds through Christmas Day...

Southerly winds, gusting to 30 to 40 mph at times, are expected
through Christmas Day. Isolated higher elevations of Cumberland
Plateau Region could experience wind gust around 40 mph or even
slightly higher. Exercise caution while driving on area roadways,
especially if operating high profile vehicles on east to west
running interstates. Be sure to secure outdoor objects, including
trash cans and inflatable Christmas Ornaments. It is possible that
if wind gusts strengthen more than expected, a wind advisory
could be issued for part of if not all of Middle Tennessee later
this evening or on Christmas Day. Wind gusts should begin to
weaken as late afternoon hours approach on Christmas Day.
