...Patchy Dense Freezing Fog Possible Through Early Morning
Hours Today...

Patchy dense freezing fog has developed, mainly near bodies of
water and other low lying fog prone locations, across mid state
region as these early morning hours have progressed. These tiny
supercooled liquid water droplets can freeze instantly on
exposed surfaces below freezing, including formation of black ice
on roadways near these locations. Exercise caution on roadways,
slow down, use low beam headlights, leave plenty of distance ahead
of you, and give yourself extra time to reach your destination.
Patchy dense freezing fog should burn off by around 8 AM CST.
