The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Giles County in middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Lawrence County in middle Tennessee...
  Eastern Lewis County in middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Maury County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 715 AM CDT.

* At 410 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
  fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Columbia, Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Mount Pleasant, Summertown,
  Ethridge, Henryville, Hampshire, Gordonsburg and Williamsport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
