...FLASH FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH 3 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Cheatham, Dickson, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys,
  Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Perry, Stewart,
  Wayne and Williamson.

* Through this afternoon.

* 2 To 5 inches of rain have fallen across many locations in the
  watch area over the past few days. Additional showers and
  thunderstorms are expected to develop after midnight tonight
  through the morning hours Saturday, resulting in an additional 2
  to 4 inches of rain possible. Higher amounts may be possible with
  training of heavier showers and storms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
