...Up to half an inch of snow possible west of the Cumberland
Plateau today...

Bands of snow are producing light accumulations this morning,
however any accumulation is expected to be short lived as
temperatures bob back into the upper 30s this morning. Expect to
continue to see a rain/snow mix throughout the early morning
hours. A changeover to all snow is expected by noon as the
atmosphere continues to cool. Snow accumulations up to half an
inch are possible for areas west of the Cumberland Plateau. No
major impacts are expected, but some isolated slick spots could
develop as temperatures continue to fall below freezing later
today. Snow should taper off late this evening.
