The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Eastern Davidson County in middle Tennessee...
  Northern Rutherford County in middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Sumner County in middle Tennessee...
  Wilson County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
  fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Murfreesboro, Gallatin, Lebanon, Madison, Hendersonville, Smyrna,
  La Vergne, Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, Millersville, Lakewood,
  Belinda City, Rural Hill, Walterhill, Hermitage, Old Hickory,
  Gladeville, Percy Priest Lake, Green Hill and Cedars Of Lebanon
  State Park.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
