  Elk River Near Prospect affecting Limestone and Giles Counties

. Elk River Near Prospect will remain above action stage for several days.
The river could climb above flood stage briefly on Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Elk River Near Prospect
* Until Friday morning.
* At 3 PM Tuesday the stage was 22.7 feet.
* Action stage is 22.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 25.2 feet Wednesday afternoon.
* At 25.0 feet...Water begins to flood Veto Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson
  bridge south of Route 273.
* At 24.5 feet...Water begins to approach Veto Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson
  bridge.
* At 22.0 feet...Water completely inundates the TWRA boat launch parking lot
  near the Hargrove - Johnson bridge on Veto Rd.
