            COUNTY AROUND 1120 PM CST CAUSING EF-1 DAMAGE TO
            HUNDREDS OF TREES ON CRYSTAL SPRINGS ROAD. SEVERAL DOZEN
            TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN ALONG LUCAS RIDGE ROAD...HEMBY
            BRANCH ROAD...CLYDETON ROAD...BRAZZLE ROAD AND
            STEPHENSON ROAD NEAR HIGHWAY 13 BEFORE THE TORNADO
            LIFTED. TOTAL PATH LENGTH ACROSS BENTON AND HUMPHREYS
            COUNTIES OF 18.95 MILES AND PATH WIDTH OF 250 YARDS.

            THIS EF-0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ALONG CURTIS CHAPEL ROAD
            JUST NORTHWEST OF MCEWEN WHERE IT DAMAGED A SMALL BARN.
            IT CONTINUED EASTWARD AND UPROOTED SOME TREES ALONG CCC
            ROAD AS WELL AS CAUSED SOME MINOR ROOF DAMAGE TO A HOME.
            ADDITIONAL DAMAGE WAS FOUND ON TUMMINS ROAD WHERE A FEW
            TREES WERE UPROOTED BEFORE THE TORNADO LIFTED. PATH
            LENGTH 4.8 MILES AND PATH WIDTH 50 YARDS.

            TORNADO BEGAN IN FAR WESTERN DAVIDSON COUNTY AND TRACKED
            THROUGH NASHVILLE PASSING JUST NORTH OF DOWNTOWN BEFORE
            CAUSING 2 DEATHS IN EAST NASHVILLE. THE TORNADO
            CONTINUED INTO WILSON COUNTY WITH A 6-MILE SWATH OF EF-3
            DAMAGE IN MT. JULIET WHERE 3 MORE DEATHS OCCURRED. THE
            TORNADO CONTINUED ALONG AND PARALLEL TO I-40 THROUGH
            LEBANON THEN WEAKENED AS IT MOVED INTO SMITH COUNTY
            BEFORE FINALLY LIFTING SE OF GORDONSVILLE. PATH LENGTH
            60.13 MILES AND PATH WIDTH 800 YARDS.

            AN EF-0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN NEAR CLUB SPRINGS ROAD
            JUST NORTH OF THE CANEY FORK RIVER AND MOVED ENE ACROSS
            VERY HILLY TERRAIN TAKING DOWN SEVERAL TREES. SEVERAL
            HOMES WERE DAMAGED IN WESTERN PUTNAM COUNTY AS WELL AS
            SEVERAL OUTBUILDINGS ON ST. MARYS ROAD. THE TORNADO
            CONTINUED TO ROCK SPRINGS ROAD WITH MINOR DAMAGE
            OCCURRING TO OUTBUILDINGS AND TREES BEFORE THE TORNADO
            LIFTED JUST WEST OF STANTON ROAD. PATH LENGTH 5.99 MILES
            AND PATH WIDTH 50 YARDS.

            *** 18 FATAL, 88 INJ *** A VIOLENT EF-4 TORNADO TRACKED
            ACROSS CENTRAL PUTMAN COUNTY FROM BAXTER TO COOKEVILLE
            DESTROYING DOZENS OF HOMES AND CAUSING 88 INJURIES AND
            18 FATALITIES. THE WORST DAMAGE WAS ON AND AROUND
            HENSLEY DRIVE WHERE MANY HOMES WERE COMPLETELY
            DESTROYED. THE TORNADO RAPIDLY DISSIPATED ON N FRANKLIN
            AVENUE JUST WEST OF COOKEVILLE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER.
            PATH LENGTH 8.23 MILES AND PATH WIDTH 500 YARDS.

            A VERY BRIEF AND WEAK EF-0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN JUST
            OFF OF HIGHWAY 70 AND OVERSTREET DRIVE SOUTHEAST OF
            COOKEVILLE IN THE DRY VALLEY AND GOFFTON AREA. DAMAGE
            WAS MOSTLY TO THE ROOF OF ONE HOUSE, METAL GARAGE, AND
            AN OUTBUILDING. THERE WERE ALSO SEVERAL TREES WITH LARGE
            BRANCHES BROKEN OFF. PATH LENGTH 0.23 MILES AND PATH
            WIDTH 25 YARDS.

            AN EF-0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN NEAR HIGHWAY 127 AND
            ATKINS ROAD WHERE TREES WERE UPROOTED AND ONE SINGLE
            WIDE MOBILE HOME SUSTAINED ROOF DAMAGE. THE TORNADO
            MOVED NE AND CROSSED SMITH ROAD DESTROYING TWO
            OUTBUILDINGS AND DAMAGING TWO HOMES. MORE OUTBUILDINGS
            WERE DESTROYED ON BEATY ROAD AND TREES WERE UPROOTED ON
            COOL SPRINGS ROAD. THE TORNADO CONTINUED EASTWARD INTO
            THE CATOOSA WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA AND POSSIBLY INTO
            MORGAN COUNTY BUT THE EXACT PATH IS UNCERTAIN PENDING
            MORE DATA.
