DICKSON...EASTERN MONTGOMERY...CHEATHAM...EAST CENTRAL HUMPHREYS AND
ROBERTSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1000 PM CDT...

At 937 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Guthrie to 6 miles northeast of McEwen.
Movement was east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Dickson, Ashland City, Clarksville, Greenbrier,
Coopertown, White Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram, Ridgetop, McEwen,
Cross Plains, Joelton, Pleasant View, Charlotte, Orlinda, Adams,
Vanleer, Cedar Hill and Slayden.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 185 and 193.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 4 and 36.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
