...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN COFFEE AND GRUNDY
COUNTIES UNTIL 730 PM CDT...

At 640 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Manchester to 7 miles north of Tracy City to
near Gruetli-Laager. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

Pea size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Gruetli-Laager, Tracy City, Monteagle, Altamont, Coalmont, Palmer,
Beersheba Springs, Hillsboro, Pelham and Fiery Gizzard State Park.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 124 and 134.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
