...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR DAVIDSON AND NORTHEASTERN
WILLIAMSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1230 AM CDT...

At 1146 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorm,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Nashville, Brentwood, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill,
Belle Meade, Pegram, Bellevue, Antioch, Joelton, Rural Hill, Berry
Hill, Bells Bend, Whites Creek, Beaman Park and Percy Priest Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 192 and 220.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 68 and 92.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 34 and 61.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
