The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Smith County in Middle Tennessee...
  De Kalb County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southeastern Wilson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northern Cannon County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 230 PM CDT.

* At 145 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
  Watertown, or 11 miles north of Woodbury, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Smithville, Alexandria, Dowelltown, Liberty, Auburntown, Center
  Hill Lake and Edgar Evans State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 263 and 266.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
