...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN RUTHERFORD AND
CANNON COUNTIES UNTIL 245 AM CDT...

At 217 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 9
miles east of Murfreesboro, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Woodbury, Bradyville, Milton and Readyville.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 86 and 91.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
