...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN DAVIDSON AND
WILLIAMSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1245 AM CDT...

At 1220 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Franklin, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nolensville, Oak Hill, Thompson's
Station, Fairview, Leipers Fork and Natchez Trace At Highway 96.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 56 and 74.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 9 and 19, and between mile
markers 21 and 40.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
