This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few thunderstorms this afternoon have the potential to become
strong to severe for the northwest half of the mid state, with the
main threat being gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

Maximum heat index values will be between 100 and 105 degrees for
many areas west of the Cumberland Plateau during the afternoon hours
today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Maximum heat index values will approach 105 degrees for many areas
west of the Cumberland Plateau during the afternoon hours Friday
through early next week.
