...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN LAWRENCE AND GILES
COUNTIES UNTIL 815 AM CDT...

At 716 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southeast of Summertown, or 12 miles northwest of Pulaski,
moving southeast at 25 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Pulaski, Summertown, Ardmore, Elkton, Minor Hill, Lynnville,
Goodspring, Frankewing and Prospect.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 22.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
