...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTH CENTRAL DICKSON AND
SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES UNTIL 615 AM CDT...

At 537 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles south of Clarksville. This storm was nearly stationary.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.  Very heavy rainfall will also be possible which could
lead to local ponding of water on roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Slayden, Palmyra and Cunningham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
