  Richland Creek Above Pulaski affecting Giles County

. Rainfall from yesterday caused waters on Richland Creek above Pulaski to rise
above action stage.  The creek has begun to crest and will continue to fall
through tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Richland Creek Above Pulaski
* Until late tonight.
* At 04AM Sunday the stage was 18.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 15.0 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken Creek Rd and the
  Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be subject to closure
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of low lying agricultural land along the river begins
