...Snowfall Accumulations Expected Across Higher Elevations
of Cumberland Plateau Region Today...

.As moisture moves into mid state region from the south early
this morning and strong southern Canadian high pressure
influences continue to build into mid state region, initial
light rain spreading across Cumberland Plateau Region will
quickly turn over to light snow. Light snowfall should then
continue through afternoon hours. For higher elevations of
Cumberland Plateau Region, elevations around 1,500 feet or
greater, snowfall accumulation amounts from one up to two
inches are expected.
