...The Flood Advisory continues for the Duck River...

  Duck River Near Hurricane Mills affecting Humphreys County

.Heavy rainfall of last week has caused the Duck River near Hurricane Mills
to remain above action stage. It will continue to slowly fall, but remain
above action stage for at least the next several days. However, late evening,
overnight, and into the first half of the work week additional rainfall
is expected which could cause additional rises on the Duck River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to
higher ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water
may be too great to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles.
If you come across a flooded road...Turn around don't drown.

Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio or other local media for further
information from the National Weather Service.

* At 10AM Sunday the stage was 19.8 feet.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* At 16.0 feet...Water begins to inundate agricultural land and other low lying
  areas along the river including access points from Bucksnort to Taylortown,
  Cedar Grove, and to Bakerville Rd.
