...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN DAVIDSON AND WESTERN
WILLIAMSON COUNTIES UNTIL 815 PM CDT...

At 746 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bellevue, or 7 miles northwest of Franklin, moving southwest at 25
mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Forest Hills, Thompson's Station,
Fairview, Bellevue, Leipers Fork and Natchez Trace At Highway 96.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 195 and 198.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 62 and 72.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 25 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
