...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WESTERN HUMPHREYS COUNTY UNTIL
200 PM CDT...

At 131 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Waverly, moving southwest at 15 mph.

Pea size hail, winds in excess of 30 mph, frequent cloud to ground
lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Waverly, New Johnsonville and I-40 Near The Tennessee River.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 136 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
