The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Western Cumberland County in middle Tennessee...
  Van Buren County in middle Tennessee...
  Eastern White County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 123 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. The heaviest rainfall amounts noted
  by radar so far are between 2 and 3 inches south of Pleasant Hill
  and across portions of eastern White and northeastern Van Buren
  Counties.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Crossville, Sparta, Spencer, Pleasant Hill, Virgin Falls State
  Natural Area, Indian Rock Lake and Lake Tansi.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 to 2 inches will be possible
over this area. This additional rain will result in additional minor
flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
