...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL RUTHERFORD AND
SOUTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM CDT...

At 528 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Murfreesboro, moving north at 10 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Walterhill, Rural Hill, Cedars Of
Lebanon State Park and Lascassas.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 72 and 80.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 52 and 68.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
