...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MARSHALL...SOUTHEASTERN MAURY AND
NORTHWESTERN BEDFORD COUNTIES UNTIL 515 PM CDT...

At 441 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lewisburg, moving northwest at 35 mph.

Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Lewisburg, Chapel Hill, I-65 East Of Columbia, Belfast and
Farmington.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 34 and 50.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
