KALB...SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 200 PM CDT...

At 114 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gordonsville, or 9 miles south of Carthage, moving east at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Algood, Baxter, Gordonsville, Hickman, Alexandria, Center
Hill Lake, Burgess Falls State Park, Edgar Evans State Park and
Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 252 and 292.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
