At 408 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sparta, moving east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta, Monterey, Pleasant Hill, Hamptons
Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads and Burgess Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 285 and 318.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
