...A Flash Flood Watch is in Effect for Northeastern Portions of
Middle Tennessee Today and into This Evening...

.A cold front will slowly work its way southeastward across the
Middle Tennessee area today and into this evening. With a very
moist airmass already in place, showers and thunderstorms can be
expected. Some of the rainfall will be quite heavy, particularly
across northeastern sections by late this morning and into the
afternoon hours. This could lead to flash flooding in a rather
short amount of time. The rainfall will taper off to light to
moderate rain showers tonight.
