RUTHERFORD...WILLIAMSON AND WEST CENTRAL WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1215
AM CDT...

At 1128 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Forest Hills, or 7 miles north of Franklin, moving southeast
at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Lebanon, Nashville, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Spring
Hill, Mount Juliet, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle Meade,
Thompson's Station, Hermitage, Rural Hill, Bellevue, Antioch, Belinda
City, Eagleville and Berry Hill.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 194 and 233.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 55 and 89.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 44 and 69.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 14 and 17, and between mile
markers 22 and 45.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
