NORTHWESTERN RUTHERFORD AND SOUTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 230 PM
CDT...

At 202 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rural Hill, or 12 miles southeast of Nashville, moving east at 10
mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lebanon, Smyrna, La Vergne, Mount Juliet, Rural Hill, Antioch,
Belinda City, Percy Priest Lake and Gladeville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 217 and 232.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 59 and 63.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 63 and 71.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
