...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN SUMNER AND
NORTHEASTERN ROBERTSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1215 PM CDT...

At 1128 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorms
over Portland, or 19 miles north of Gallatin, moving southeast at
30 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Westmoreland, Portland, Orlinda, Mitchellville, Oak Grove and
Bethpage.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 116 and 120.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
