...Gusty Winds this Afternoon Through Mid Afternoon Hours on
Wednesday...

.As a large storm system develops across the central and southern
plains this afternoon, a strong surface pressure gradient will
become increasingly established across the mid state region. This
strong surface pressure gradient will continue tonight through
the mid afternoon hours on Wednesday. For locations generally
around and east of the I-65 corridor, these strong surface
pressure gradient influences will continue through the mid
afternoon hours on Wednesday. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts
to around 40 mph this afternoon, gust potential increasing to
40 to 50 mph tonight through mid afternoon hours on Wednesday.

* TIMING...Until 3 PM CST Wednesday

* WINDS...Breezy south wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 40
  mph this afternoon, with gusts increasing to a 40 to 50 mph
  range tonight through the mid afternoon hours on Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds can cause tree and branch damage. Loose
  outdoor objects may be blown around. High profile vehicles,
  especially those traveling on east-west roadways, may
  experience travel difficulties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 40 mph or greater are
possible. Winds this strong may blow down a few trees or tree
limbs and cause isolated power outages. Driving may also become
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
