This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Light scattered snow showers will be possible through the
mid evening hours for locations mainly east of I-65 and
around and north of I-40 through the mid evening hours
tonight. Accumulations on elevated surface will be
possible. However, no significant ground accumulations
are expected as of this time.

The formation of patchy freezing fog across all of Middle
Tennessee, with the formation of areas of freezing fog
possible in the elevated valleys of the Cumberland Plateau
Region, is expected from mid evening hours tonight onward.
Freezing fog can result in slick spots, black ice, developing
on area roadways, especially bridges and overpasses.
Exercise caution while driving on area roadways tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Patchy freezing fog, areas of freezing fog for the elevated
valleys of the Cumberland Plateau Region, will continue
through the mid morning hours on Tuesday. Freezing fog
can result in slick spots, black ice, developing on
area roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. Continue
to exercise caution while driving on area roadways through
the mid morning hours on Tuesday.

A strong storm system could bring locally moderate to heavy
rainfall to much of Middle Tennessee Friday night and Saturday,
which could result in minor flooding issues, especially on
area creeks and streams. A wintry mix of precipitation will
then be possible Saturday night into Sunday. As of this time,
uncertainties remain concerning any wintry accumulations amounts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Although no significant ground level accumulations of snowfall
are expected through the mid evening hours tonight, if unexpected
significant accumulations do happen to occur, please relay those
accumulation amount reports to the Nashville National Weather
Service Office. Any reports of slick spots, black ice formation,
occuring on area roadways relayed to Nashville National Weather
Service Office also appreciated.
