...The flood advisory continues for the Cumberland River...

  Cumberland River Near Hermitage affecting Davidson County

. The Cumberland River at Hermitage has crested and begun to slowly recede. The river stage at 8 am was 43 feet, which is 1 foot above action stage and 5 feet below flood stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Cumberland River Near Hermitage
* Until this evening.
* At 08AM Wednesday the stage was 43.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* At 44.0 feet...Areas along the river continue to be inundated, including
  portions of the Hermitage Golf Course and the Gaylord Springs Golf Course.
  Water is also inundating areas along the Stones River, including portions of
  the Stones River Greenway and the Heartland Park athletic fields.
* At 42.0 feet...Low lying areas along the Cumberland River from the Hermitage
  Golf Course to near River Trace begin to be inundated. Water is also backing
  up on the Stones River and inundating adjacent low lying areas including
  portions of the Stones River Greenway.
