This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Rainfall will develop and spread back across the mid state today
and continue into tonight. Rainfall amounts will average around
one half inch south to less than one quarter inch north. Many river
and creek levels are currently at action and or flood stage
levels. However, these levels are still expected to drop slowly
through tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Another Gulf system will impact the area with additional rainfall
on Thursday night and continuing into Friday night. Given the
added upper level support, rainfall amounts could approach 1 inch
with this system. The declining river and creek levels will likely
level off but we are not expecting a problematic flooding
situation at this time.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed.
