the following rivers in middle Tennessee...Alabama...

  Elk River Near Prospect affecting Limestone and Giles Counties

. River levels along the the Elk River near Prospect will continue to fall
and the Flood Warning has been downgraded to a Flood Advisory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Flood Advisory for
  The Elk River Near Prospect
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 24.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 21.1 feet by Thursday morning.
* At 24.5 feet...Water begins to approach Veto Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson
  bridge.
* At 22.0 feet...Water completely inundates the TWRA boat launch parking lot
  near the Hargrove - Johnson bridge on Veto Rd.
