...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 AM CST FOR
PERRY COUNTY...

At 604 AM CST, local law enforcement reported numerous roads flooded
and closed across Perry County including Cypress Creek Road and
Russell Creek Road. Radar indicates moderate to heavy rain continues
across the area, with additional showers and thunderstorms extending
well off to the southwest across western Tennessee and northern
Mississippi. Flash flooding is therefore expected to continue for
several more hours.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Linden, Lobelville and Mousetail Landing State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
