...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...
Tennessee...

  Shoal Creek Near Iron City affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence Counties

.Runoff from rainfall continues to flow into Shoal Creek, and water levesl are
expected to approach Moderate Flood Stage later this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don't drown.

from the National Weather Service.

* At 10AM Friday the stage was 13.6 feet and rising fast.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Moderate flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise to near 19.0 feet this evening.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along Shoal Creek begins.
