...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood advisory for
the following rivers in middle Tennessee...

  Duck River Near Shelbyville affecting Bedford and Marshall Counties
  Duck River Near Hurricane Mills affecting Humphreys County

. Heavy rainfall Tuesday night and Wednesday has contributed to additional rises on Middle Tennessee rivers and streams. The Duck River at Shelbyville and Hurricane Mills will rise above action stage, but is not expected to reach flood stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  The Duck River Near Shelbyville
* At 04PM Wednesday the stage was 22.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 23.7 feet after midnight tomorrow.
* At 25.0 feet...Flooding occurs in low lying areas along the Duck River
  throughout the Shelbyville area.

The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
  The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills
* At 04PM Wednesday the stage was 17.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 22.1 feet Saturday morning.
* At 24.0 feet...Flood waters approach low lying portions of Hurricane Creek
  Road near Hurricane Mills, and other roads in the area are flooded including
  Tumbling Creek Road. Agricultural land along the river is extensively flooded
  from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 are flooded
  and may be impassable.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 begin to
  flood and there is significant flooding of agricultural land along the river
  from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of agricultural land and other low lying areas along
  the river begin to flood from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
