The National Weather Service in Nashville has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Dickson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Montgomery County in Middle Tennessee...
  Stewart County in Middle Tennessee...
  Houston County in Middle Tennessee...
  Humphreys County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until noon CST.

* At 753 AM CST, emergency management reported several flooded
  roadways across the advisory area. Doppler radar estimates two to
  four inches of rain have fallen since yesterday. Although heavy
  rain has ended, flooding will continue for a while longer this
  morning until waters recede.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Clarksville, Waverly, Camden, Dover, Erin, New Johnsonville,
  McEwen, Tennessee Ridge, Hurricane Mills, Big Rock, Vanleer,
  Cumberland City, Slayden, Palmyra, Woodlawn, Land Between The
  Lakes, Houston County Airport, Indian Mound, Cunningham and I-40
  Near The Tennessee River.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 136 and 148.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 17.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
