...The Flood Advisory continues for the Cumberland River...

  Cumberland River At Omohundro Water Plant affecting Davidson County

. Water levels remain high as runoff from recent rainfall comtinues to slowly
move through the Cumberland River basin. Expect water levels to slowly subside
through this weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Cumberland River At Omohundro Water Plant
* Until Sunday afternoon.
* At 11AM Saturday the stage was 37.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* Action stage is 35.0 feet.
* At 38.0 feet...Shelby Bottoms Park begins to be inundated near the ball
  fields, and portions of the greenway trail may be impassable. Water begins to
  back up Mill Creek and is inundating low lying areas near Lebanon Pike.
* At 35.0 feet...Low lying areas along both sides of the river are inundated,
  including portions of Shelby Bottoms Park.
