URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
Flood Watch
National Weather Service Nashville TN
959 AM CST Thu Feb 7 2019

...Flash Flood Watch in Effect from 3 PM CST This Afternoon
Through This Evening for Northern Middle Tennessee...

.A strong cold front will bring an additional round of rainfall to
the mid state area late this afternoon and tonight. Additional
rainfall totals of up to 1 inch cannot be ruled out. Given the 3
to 6 inch average rainfall amounts that have occurred over the
past 24 hours across Northern Middle Tennessee, any additional
rainfall will only act to exacerbate any ongoing flood problems.
Though the duration of the heavier rainfall late this afternoon
and evening will only last for a few hours, flooding can still
occur rather quickly.
