...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood advisory for
the following rivers in middle Tennessee...

  Cumberland River At Pennington Bend affecting Davidson County

. Excessive rainfall from yesterday has caused the Cumberland River near
Pennington Bend to go above action stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
  The Cumberland River At Pennington Bend
* At 06AM Thursday the stage was 42.2 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 47.0 feet.
* At 42.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river around Pennington Bend are
  inundated from near the River Trace subdivision to the Cumberland River
  Greenway bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park.
* At 44.0 feet...Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river,
including properties on Berwick Trail, areas near Gibson Creek on Denson Ave
and Yale Ave, portions of Opryland near McGavock Pike, and properties in the
River Glen and River Trace subdivisions.
