...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CST FOR
DICKSON...HUMPHREYS AND NORTHWESTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES...

At 840 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. This is causing dangerous Flash
flooding in Humphreys County and into Southern Dickson County.

Use extreme caution in New Johnsonville...Hurricane Creek including
Hurricane Mills...Blue Creek including McEwen...Garners Creek
including Oak Grove...West Piney River including Eno...and for areas
in and around the City of Dickson and Montgomery Bell State Park.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Waverly, White Bluff, Burns, Charlotte, Pinewood, Bucksnort and I-40
Near The Tennessee River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
