DE KALB...NORTHWESTERN WHITE AND PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM CST...

At 819 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Sparta, moving northeast at 50 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Sparta, Algood, Monterey, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers
Crossroads, Crawford, Burgess Falls State Park and Rickman.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 281 and 304.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
