...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTH CENTRAL DAVIDSON...NORTHERN
DICKSON...SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY...NORTHERN CHEATHAM...EASTERN HOUSTON
AND CENTRAL ROBERTSON COUNTIES UNTIL 100 AM CST...

At 1218 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Erin, moving east at 55 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Ashland City, Millersville, Greenbrier, Coopertown,
Ridgetop, Pleasant View, Vanleer, Cedar Hill, Slayden, Cheatham Dam
and Cunningham.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 near mile marker 105.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 14 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
