...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT FOR CENTRAL
OVERTON...SOUTHWESTERN PICKETT AND NORTHWESTERN FENTRESS COUNTIES...

At 958 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms continues across the advisory area. Radar estimates 2
to 3 and a half inches of rain has fallen this evening, with the
heaviest rain occurring near the community of Allred along Highway
85 in eastern Overton County, and along Highway 52 between
Livingston and Jamestown. Minor flooding is likely occurring in the
advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Allred, Alpine, Livingston, Jamestown, Crawford and Grimsley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
