...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN SMITH...SOUTHEASTERN SUMNER...NORTHEASTERN WILSON...
MACON AND TROUSDALE COUNTIES...

At 327 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lafayette to near Hartsville to 6 miles north of
Lebanon, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lebanon, Lafayette, Hartsville, Red Boiling Springs, Dixon Springs,
Pleasant Shade, Bledsoe Creek State Park and Dickerson Chapel
Recreation Area.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 239 and 241.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
