...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN MARSHALL...EAST
CENTRAL MAURY...SOUTH CENTRAL WILLIAMSON AND WESTERN BEDFORD COUNTIES
UNTIL 430 PM CDT...

At 401 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spring Hill, or 11 miles east of Columbia, moving southeast at 35
mph.

Penny size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Shelbyville, Spring Hill, Chapel Hill, I-65 East Of
Columbia, Farmington and Unionville.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 42 and 55.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
