...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN DE KALB AND
NORTHEASTERN CANNON COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM CDT...

At 445 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Smithville, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Very heavy downpours and winds around 30 mph will be possible with
this storm. More than 1 inch of rainfall could cause some minor
flooding of roads and small streams.

Locations impacted include...
Smithville and Dowelltown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
